Energy Procurement

1. INFORMATION INTAKE

Our team of consultants will review utility bills and discuss preferences for risk tolerance, contract length, load usage, and other factors so we may understand the full scope of our client's energy usage. A signed "Letter of Authorization" allows our advisors to collect historical use data and secure pricing rates from our extensive list of energy suppliers. This is step one of our five step process. Here is where we start to put the pieces together.

2. ASSESS, ORGANIZE, AND FACILITATE SUPPLIER BID

Your advisors will organize the specific criteria, and compile a bid package. Our team will work with our supplier partners and notify them of the opportunity to bid. We will solicit the top-tier suppliers in the market, and request apples-to-apples pricing. Our sealed-bid process allows us to get a true, unbiased look at the market. You will enjoy the benefits of supplier competition, securing the lowest spot-market pricing available.

3. PRESENT BID RESULTS, MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS

When the Bid Packages are returned from the suppliers, our team will present the results with a recommendation. Your consultant will explain the pros and cons of each contract term, and provide a recommendation based on your unique needs. We will vet out supplier contracts, explain the language, and ensure that you feel confident in your energy procurement decision. We reinforce that our clients are under no obligation.

4.IMPLEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

Once we determine the right contract length, we will execute contracts with the suppliers. The execution of contracts will be determined by current market conditions. During this step, we will also provide the supplier with proper billing and account information. We are your partner in this process, and will make sure the transition to the new supplier is seamless.

5. MAINTAIN, INFORM, RENEW

Our advisors at Strategic Energy Partners closely monitor not only market conditions, but commodities pricing and regulatory news. We advocate for our clients and strive to be a one-stop energy management solution. Part of our offering includes client education. We feel that it is important that our clients understand the procurement strategies, and why it is the right fit for them. We distribute weekly and monthly newsletters to keep clients privy to any changes in pricing or market forecasting. Once a contract is facilitated, our team begins monitoring your account, and market conditions, to proactively keep you informed for your next purchasing decision.
